1. What Beefocus is

Beefocus provides Pomodoro timing, gardens and focus logging, along with statistics about your sessions. All of the local features work without registering. If you create an account you can switch on cloud sync, which keeps your gardens, flowers and focus sessions in step across your devices — that sync is part of the PRO subscription.

2. Subscriptions and payment (PRO)

Plans and prices are exactly what the in-app upgrade screen and the store product page (App Store or Google Play) show at the time — monthly, yearly, lifetime and so on.
Where you buy. Subscriptions are sold through the store you install from: the App Store on iOS and macOS, Google Play on Android. The store's own terms also apply, and it is the store that bills you.
Auto-renewal. Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically. Payment is charged to your Apple ID (App Store) or your Google account (Google Play) when the purchase is confirmed, and again unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
Free trials (where offered) convert into a paid subscription when the trial ends. Unused trial time is forfeited as soon as you purchase. If a trial is available, the store shows its length and the price that follows before you confirm.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time:
- App Store: iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions;
- Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions;
- or the manage-subscription link at the bottom of the app's PRO screen.
You keep PRO access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies; we cannot process refunds directly.
Restore purchases. After reinstalling or switching devices, tap “Restore purchases” on the PRO screen to recover your entitlement from either store.
What PRO covers. The entitlement is tied to your account — which is why you sign in before buying — and works on every device you sign in to with that account.
Prices may change, but a change only affects billing periods after the change.

3. Your account

Keep your password safe: you are responsible for what happens under your account.
Do not share your account, and do not use someone else's.
You can delete your account at any time with Profile → Delete Account. This permanently clears your account, all cloud data (gardens, flowers and focus sessions) and the local copy. It cannot be undone, and it does not cancel a subscription — see section 2.
If we see an account being abused — fake purchases, attacks on the service, automated bulk sign-ups — we may restrict or terminate it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the app in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
reverse engineer it, crack it, bypass subscription checks, or interfere with our service or with other users;
upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content (garden and flower names, for example);
make automated bulk requests that affect the stability of the service.

5. Your content

Gardens, flowers and focus sessions you create belong to you.
We store, sync and display that content for one purpose only: to provide the service to you. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.
It is worth using the in-app export to back up anything important.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”. We work to keep it stable, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for data loss or service interruption caused by network problems, failures of third-party services (Apple or Google, Supabase, PowerSync, RevenueCat and the like), device faults, mistakes, or events beyond our control.
Beefocus is not medical or mental-health advice — please set your focus and break lengths to something sensible for you.

7. Changes to these terms and to the service

We may update these terms from time to time. A new version is published on this page with a new effective date, material changes are announced in the app, and continuing to use the app means you accept them.
We may add, change or retire features (including what a subscription includes). If that materially reduces something you have already paid for, we will give you advance notice and a reasonable remedy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them is subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court at the defendant's domicile.
